Southern Sudan Humanitarian is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization designed to help the people of Southern Sudan rebuild their communities after more than two decades of civil war.
We partner with the people of Southern Sudan to help them obtain the things they need for a healthy and productive life. Our work includes projects around clean water, health care, education, orphan care, successful agriculture, and means to provide family income.
Southern Sudan Humanitarian is run by volunteers consisting of the residents of Southern Sudan, Southern Sudanese refugees living in the U.S., and native U.S. residents. We give special emphasis on ensuring that all work is culturally appropriate and relevant to the people of Southern Sudan.
